Hula Bear

I got the idea for these cards at Split Coast Stampers. For the Hula Bear I used the Under the Stars stamp set and the scallop oval punch to make the palm tree. For the Bear with Fish card I also used Under the Stars and the fish came from Just Beachy.

Baby Scrapbook

My husband's coworker asked me to make a book for her friend. She wanted each page spread to have a different theme. This was an 8" by 8" scrapbook. I used Big Shot dies and Stampin' Up! stamps to make the embelishments.

I made this card for the Mother's Day class with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set.
"Pick a Petal" is one of my favorite sets.

These are the cards we made June 6 with some of the retiring colors and some of the Occassions 2009 stamp sets.

I'm Back!

Wow!!! It's been such a long time since I have updated my blog. It just gets so busy... work, the house, the husband :) , the stamping etc. But I am trying to update it as much as possible with projects I have worked on lately. Like the baby onesie below. It is my all time FAVORITE!!!

Baby Onesie

This baby onesie is made with textured cardstock. It can be made for boy or girl and it can be used as a baby shower invitation or birth announcement. Isn't it cute?

Thanks.. I needed that Card

Fast and Fun Notes is such a cute set and perfect for those who want to start their stamp collection. It has stamps for all ocassions!!! I love this card because it was made with water coloring which brings the image to life.

Basket

Go Diego Go

This is an invitation for a Birthday party. I used the SU In Colors, and heat embossing with white powder. The inside green piece is for a picture. The party information would be printed on the orange piece.

Butterfly Clip

We made this clip today which can be used to hold a note on a desk or a picture. To make the butterfly we used the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot die and the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

How to store paper punches

I had my paper punches in a drawer which made me get up every time I needed one plus I had to search through the drawer to find them. So I got this curtain rods at JoAnn Fabrics for $2.99 each and hung them next to my desk. The rods expand and they are sooooo easy to mount on the wall that you can do it yourself.

Happy Family Frame

I love this project. I used my new swirly die from Sizzix and for the "G" I used a magnet VivyJo gave me. I traced the magnet on Stampin' Up Designer series paper. I used rub-ons and embellishments. This hangs on our guest bedroom.

Baby Pics Rescued

My husband's baby pictures got ruined during Hurricane Andrew. I took the bits and pieces from the pictures that were not ruined and punched them with circle and square punches. I am working on his baby album and these are the first two pages.

What do I do with rub-ons?

I got these rub-ons with the Sale-a-bration promotion, but I didn't know what to do with them. VivyJo suggested I tried them on candles or candle votives, so I did and now I LOVE rub-ons!!! They are so easy to apply, the swirl gave me a little trouble though. here I show the front and back.
